No. You are welcome whether you are self-identified, diagnosed, questioning, or exploring neurodivergence for the first time. Your lived experience is valid, and you do not need proof or paperwork to access neurodivergence-affirming counselling.

Yes, absolutely. You are welcome to move, stretch, use stims, fidget tools, sit in any position, lie down, or get comfortable in whatever way works best for your nervous system.

Yes. As a queer and non-binary counsellor, I offer affirming support for queer, trans, and 2SLGBTQ+ clients through lived experience and ongoing learning.

Yes. I support people in polyamorous, non-monogamous, and other relationship structures in individual counselling sessions. My work is grounded in my lived experience as a polyamorous person.

Definitely! All communication styles are welcome, including info-dumping, long pauses, and direct or blunt communication.

Yes. You are welcome to have your camera off, turn it on and off as needed, or have text-based sessions. Some people prefer this as it can relieve some of the anxiety around being perceived, especially on more difficult days.

Sessions take place through an encrypted, secure platform. You can have your camera on or off, communicate in the ways that work for your brain and body, and move at a pace that feels supportive. I’ll send you a link before our first session.

Yes. I offer flexible pacing, rest breaks, camera-off options, and space to honour capacity. My own experience with chronic illness informs my approach.

We can adjust the session structure to fit your processing styles and access needs. Some people prefer guidance, and others prefer open-ended space. Both are welcome. We can co-create a therapeutic space that works for you.

In-person sessions are walk-and-talk (or sit) in nature in Squamish, BC. We will meet somewhere outside or undercover outside. Walking or sitting depends on my body that day because I often have flare-ups which make walking for longer periods of time difficult.-
